Fresh Blueberry Cream Pie

Ingredients:

    Filling:
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ¼ tsp salt (optional)
  • 3 tbs all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
    Topping:
  • 3 tbs chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 2 tbs all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tbs butter (margarine)

Combine the sour cream, sugar, salt (optional) and 3 tbs of flour. Beat until smooth. fold in blueberries. Pour filling into pastry shell; bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove the pie. ( While baking, combine the nuts, 2 tbs flour, vanilla, egg and buttter.) Sprinkle the nut combination over pie. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
